The Model 247C measures the DPU movement as a result of changes in the differential pressure measured on the primary device. Installed in the process system, model 247C unit movement is mechanically transmitted to the control system, which in turn places the recording.
Changes in stress within the Differential Pressure Unit control housings trigger the model 247C DPU bellows to shift in the path of decreasing pressure. 247C model movement is transmitted to the DPU torque tube input line. The Torque tube shaft is the mechanical output of the DPU attached to the back of the indicator case. The torque tube motor is connected to the sensor system.

SPECIFICATIONS

The Model 247C is a 6 “(152 mm) mobile marker located in a plastic holding box with a built-in 3-valve tank, drain valves and neoprene hoses. DP ranges from 0 to 30” w.c. Portable backflow testers available at 0-400 rpm (Model 246 BFT–3 inches; Model 247CBFT–6 inches), powered by 224C DPU.

M247C characteristics: Pressure Overrange Protection (up to 500 PSI)–no stress peaks harm the meter. Easy reading scale–150 separate 0.1 PSID divisions mark the large scale.
