RMG ACCUTEST METER
High frequency signals are given by inductive proximity sensors as the blades of each aluminum rotor pass the sensors. The on-site transition evidence device for on-site testing is equipped for on-site in-line testing and testing under real conditions by attaching certain pulse outputs to the laptop computer or to correction/provers using a signal conditioner. This meter, connected to a laptop, becomes an immediate transfer test system. In any flow and line pressure, the EFC C/P automatically proved the meter at a pre-programmed interval. As the friction level of the turbine meter is generally affected more efficiently at low flow rates, the proving cycle can be scheduled during low flow times over night. For turbine meters, the recommended test fluid rates are between 10 and 15 percent. If the test period is complete, a proven data file records the date, duration, flow rate and calculation precision in the database. You can download these data into the laptop with or remotely via a modem along with the database history volume file. Manual proof is done using the EFC C/P cover keypad, Figure 16. The value of a manual proof is a) it enables a flux of 10-15% of the meter to be modified to achieve good low-end output testing (where bypass piping and multiple runs are present) and (b) it enables a test meter to be carried out at more than one flow rate as required.
