SPECIFICATIONS

RMG J78

The units can be mounted in horizontal or vertical pipelines, both for natural, liquified petroleum and refined gasses. Regulators should be used with inlet pressures up to 75mbar (30″wg) in compliance to British Gas Standards for domestic meter service applications. Careful construction of the internal gasways has achieved a high degree of efficiency. The J78 range is available in two versions to ensure full flow with reduced pressure loss. There is a breather port on the J78R. A 1⁄4″ threaded breather can be used to ventilate the area where this additional protection feature is important in order to provide the J78RS. A detailed selection of flowers is available, as defined by the overlay. By rotating the spring adjustment unit under the top of the package, the outlet pressure can be conveniently and correctly controlled. The cover and top cap are punched to make the sealing wire easy to fit if necessary. The J78 series is designed for easy entry, inspection and maintenance of all internal components in a range of temperatures from -20° C to +70° C. The J78 set is supplied as a standard with BS21 (ISO 7) or NPT tapered scrub thread. A standard soft spares package is offered for all sizes. On request, other threads may also be given. The tests on the last page shall be conducted with a constant intake pressure, default flow rate and required outlet pressure set on the control system. This raises the flow rate while maintaining a stable inlet pressure. The capability is registered when the pressure from the exit decreases between 10% to 20%.
