Description
The Model C actuator is capable of controlling valves with diameters ranging from 1-13/16” to 4-1/16” and operating pressures up to 10,000 psi (689 bar). 6-3/8” gate valves with operating pressures up to 5000 psi are likewise controlled by the actuator (345 bar). Actuators with a 3” or 4” piston are offered to optimize control pressures to satisfy application requirements. Hydraulic actuators from the Model C series include: Overpressurization of the actuator is prevented by an external safety release mechanism. Long-term operation and dependable closing are provided by a power spring submerged in pure hydraulic oil. The Quick-Disconnect function allows the actuator to be removed without depressurizing the valve, substantially reducing downtime and lost revenue.The actuator shaft is visible, giving a visual indication of the position of the gate valve.
