1502 Weco Union

The turbine flow meter from the WECO displays the flow rate and assesses the entire liquid line flow rate. The machine moves at the same speed as the flux rate when the fluid passes through the meter and the stove. The magnetic pick-up senses the rotor propellers as they move to produce an electrical (sine wave) message. These pulses are then transferred to the read-out device for flow measurement. Optional engine configurations and/or designs allow for erosive or corrosive liquids like fog or cement slurries and enzymes. The meter should be washed with smooth water after using any erosive or corrosive liquids. The fluid flow meter TM 1502 WECO ® can be used with the spiral tube in high-pressure water injection tests, inhibitor scale and well-cleaning procedures. Opening / close of the tube valve, mud / cut-in activity (quantity monitoring unit) and flow-back therapy are all applications.

The system has a number of alternatives, including: a carbide binderless rod for an increased resistance to corrosion of selected chemicals. Silver brazed shaft to stand up to 450 ° F (232 ° C) and to attack products bearing chemicals. Increased corrosion resistance rotors (especially ferrous materials corroding acids) to selected chemicals with nickel plates. Modified rotors for applications of cement slurry or mud. The meter must be mounted with the arrow connected to the flow track of the line on the meter frame. The flowmeter upflow and downflow must be installed at a distance from the direct tube–usually with a tubing joint of 2, “3” or 4 “1502 steel handling; either valves or shocks must be the downflowmeter of the flowmeter.
