RMG AL-425
The indexes of the quantity of gas moved by the meters at cubic feet at the pressure and temperature of the measurer are given on the meters, unless otherwise specified. If the measurement meter measures the gas at a gage pressure of 14.7 psig (absolute pressure of 29.4 psi), the measurement index should be multiplied by 2.00 when the volume of gas expresses at 14.7 psia at cubic feet. The lightweight compact architecture lets one technician install and reduces costs and injury. Care should be exercised in blowing fall. In certain cases, the internal meter systems were weakened by blowing drips down the side of the meter. Sudden pressure drops due to drippings or an open exhaust valve, which leads to rates that can strain or break those work pieces at an excessive pace across the metre. The measurement pressure can be compounded by 4.00 to express the amount in cubic foot at a pressure of 14.7 psi, at an absolute pressurize of 58.8 psi at the meter. It is recommended that apertures be mounted on the downstream side and next to the meter to decrease any possible losses to positive displacement meters due to a sudden opening of the valves. Through slowly opening (cracking open) the block valve when pressurized, the meter should be secured against losses. Orifices and dots guard from over-speed meters. The table below shows the average diameter of the holes, which can be effectively used for different meter sizes.
