RMG REMOTE VOLUME PULSER (RVP)
Rigorous life and environmental tested on the RVP-FI have been done to ensure consistent results, using the four screw hole normally used to install the index box to connect the RVP-FI mounting to the meter. The index and index box are mounted on the pulser instead of being connected directly to the meter. A wriggler that attaches to the index drive of the meter powers the RVP-FI. It is compatible with 1ft3, 2ft3 and 0.05 m3 drives, and the RVP-VI uses a reed switch that is usually open (“A” form) to deliver precise pulse output for several meters directly from the index. The magnetic reed turn of the pulser provides the dry-contact closing to secure the completeness of the circuit. In order to improve overall efficiency, a replacement shifter is provided on the PCB as a back up feature. A 10-foot integral cable provides the output of the switch. The RGP-VI has carried out stringent life and environmental checks to ensure consistent performance. When the RGP-VI is ordered with a pre-installed index. You also have to uninstall the old index box and add the new RVP VI index box. The RG-VI can be mounted in the factory on new meters or bought as a retrofitting kit. Every bundle consists of an index box, index box gasket, PCB, 10-foot wire, hardware mounting and safety seals and three cable connectors. The sets will have an index.
