Model 224

The Model 224 Differential Pressure Unit (DPU) is a mechanical device that monitors the parallel differential stress of a gas or liquid passing through a process system or the quantity of liquid stored in a process tank. In the factory-stream measurement process scheme, the DPU is linked to a main unit (e.g., venturi, orifice screen, or flow tube). For liquid concentration readings, the DPU can be linked in a multitude of respects to assess the range of stress induced by fluid density differences in the unit ship.
The Model 224 DPU is accessible in separate stress scores to evaluate particular distances between 0-30 inches of water column and 0-1000 psi, with secure work stress (SWP) outcomes of 500 to 10,000 psi (224 Non-C restricted to 500 to 3,000 psi SWP). Table 1-1, point 4. The 224C Bellows Unit Assembly (BUA) is manufactured in three bellow sizes: 1-5/8 inch, 5/8 inch and 3/4 inch. Diameter 1-5/8 inch BUA can handle differential pressure up to 55 psi. The scope springs of this BUA are placed inside the bellows and do not touch the weighed liquid. The 3/4-inch BUA can handle pressure up to 400 psi and 5/8-inch BUA up to 1,000 psi. The area tubes of these BUAs are clustered around the bellows.
