RMG AM-250
This differential plus the preload sleeve provides the clamping power. The control pressure must be minimized when the valve is opened. A slight reduction in the pressure control allows the inlet pressure to lift the sleeve from the inlet cage. The central sleeve preload is resolved and the sleeve is pelted away from the downstream cage as the power pressure reduces further. The valve flow starts with the uncovering of the tapered cage openings. Additional decreases in control pressure show a wider outlet cage area. When the control pressure achieves balance and the flow condition is met, throttle control is retained.
